Vanquish [/center] Heavy, dinner size hooves hit the ground witht eh sound of more hten one equine. But for his breed, that was common. The Sleipnir stallion strode into the area, and noticed that it hadn't been touched for a while. He conisdered that a good thing, for once. He wanted this place to call home. The grass bent at his will under his monstrous weight. A towering 18.1hh, weighing in at over 2000lbs, most that weight caused by his extra limbs, he was a force to reckon with. But the fire brute wasn't a fighter. It was not in him to cause havoc. He wondered if Apollo was around. He wanted to meet the God he admired so much.
As he reared, and let out a fierce scream, everything in the land grew silent. When he landed, it sounded like thunder was ringing out time a thousand. He turned, and made his way towards the center of his new land. He planned on starting a herd. He wanted a mare. And heirs. He smiled at the thought of little him's running around. The chestnut gave one last call, just for safety measure, then kept going. This was his land now, and he wanted to mark his area.

He ate my heart
Heart thudded as she raced across the plains, tears still matted to her face, nearly in the same shape as the red markings that now burned into her pelt. She wanted to scream with all her might, she wanted someone to listen to her, to know of what was to come, but it was no use. So all she could do was run. Run and run and run until her lungs burned and blood threatened to appear from her nostrils. Her mind screamed in agony as her body protested each and every movement. Her body was slick with sweat when she reached the Sea of Fire. Daggers threw up sand which just clung to her wet pelt and she breathed so heavily she thought she might just keel over right there.
Dust flew behind her and she heard a war cry. She stopped dead in her tracks and swung her tiara crazily around looking for the source. Heart pounded in her aud's but even if that didn't block her hearing, the heavy sound of her breath would have easily hindered her. She threw her skull in desperation, wanting so badly for the fate she had already seen for herself, to just be over. But she would have to wait and watch the events unfold right before her very eyes before she was allowed that lovely bequest.
Legs picked up again, all six of them as she thundered across the land. She saw dust from another rising and ran straight for it. Perhaps the lead stud would kill her right there, allowing her to be free of this horrible burden that Apollo had bestowed upon her. She also screamed, loud and clear, not a war cry, but one of pure anguish. It was a high pitched, horrified scream, one that would scare the bajeezus out of anyone in the area while she continued on towards the equine that threw the dust up ahead of her.

He had maybe gotten a mile into his terra when his ears caught the cry of another. It wasn't a challenging cry, thank god. It was of pure anguish and sounded almost female. He saw the small up rise of dust, and quickly his eyes adjusted to notice that the horse hadn't stopped its on sault towards him. He stiffened, and when the six legged mare almost barreled into him, he let his body act as a barrier. She didn't hit him, and he quickly turned to meet her gaze. "Why are you running so hard?" At first, he was worried. He didn't notice the tears till later.
He stepped towards her, and examined her body. Six legs? Must be a half breed... His eyes only widened slightly when he noticed the thick layer of the salty tears dripping down her cheek bones. He instantly felt sympathy for her. But he dind't show it. Most creatures rejected sympathy. They hated feeling inferer to others. But when he gave sympathy, it was to help, not downsize. But still, the chestnut kept his words to himself. His head rose, the blaze on it a stark contrast to the firey chestnut that layered 99% of his body. The only other discoloration was his two white stockings on his last pair of hind legs. His orange brown eyes diverted from her. He didn't want her to feel like she was on the spot.
Everything he had collected so far was simple. She was a mix breed between a Unicorn and a Sleipnir. She wasn't happy. She looked like a Fire equine. The reason he made that assumption was because he himself was a Fire equine, and could sense an aura similar to his. He didn't speak another word, afraid to scare her off. She seemed un easy, or maybe it was just him assuming things again. He did let his eyes go back to her, though. He waited for her to speak.

He ate my heart
Cassandra screeched again. She had stopped before she struck the stud and she choked back tears. It was no use in crying again. Crying would not change her situation. Crying would not make Apollo change his mind. Just because she would not give him what he wanted. Her body shivered, recalling the horrible night that she had spent in Apollo's temple. He had even spit in her mouth, something that was only for the lowest of the low, which he probably assumed she was. None the less, she was his follower, his priestess, and she must worship her lord and keep her lips sealed about her fate.
She breathed heavily still, snorting, trying desperately to catch the breathe that she felt was knocked out of her. Limbs paced around, she couldn't stop moving. To most, she looked like a crazed lunatic. In fact, she was confused as to why the stud was still standing before her when she acted the way she did. Her hair was thrown in all directions, looking like she was a mess. The sweat patches had now started to dry on her skin, leaving a white substance that stuck tightly and all she wanted to do was get clean.
The sun beat down in the fire lands and she knew him to be a fire equine because he seemed perfectly content in this environment. No other element could survive very long in just about any fire equine lands. Now that her breathing was steadying she was able to look over the stud with squinting, almost accusing orbs. He had all his eight legs, the things she lacked. He was a full blood, full blood sleipnier. Her heart pounded again. This was a favorite of Apollo, everyone knew he favored the pure bloods over the half bloods like her. For some reason she feared him because of this fact. Almost cowered before the brute.
"I.. I don't know." She stuttered to him, tiara dipping down as she finally stood still. Her skull was lower than his, and not just because she was a whole hand shorter than he. She wanted to show respect, now that her mind had returned. She realized death was something she wished, but he would not be the one to dealt it, otherwise she would have foretold that.

She acted like she was possesed. At first, he wondered if maybe a Nightmare had messed with her mind. But he couldn't sense any evil on her. She just seemed extremelly upset, to the point of insanity. He watched her pace, watched her snort and prance restlessly. He sighed softly. He couldn't let her run again. Not when she was already in so much distress. "Miss.." He spoke softly, and took a step towards her. He was impressed by her. She seemed so perfect, even with the sweat and sand coated on her six legged body.
As she spoke, he was surprised to see her stutter and drop her beautifully sculpted head. He didn't want her to submit to him. He was no better then the common, mangy stallion. Who cared if he was a pureblood, or his height and weight could easily over throw a mare like her. He was a big teddy bear, and ment no harm to a fellow equine, unless they struck first. But of course she had no idea how he was. And she didn't seem to be the most well brought up mare. Something had happened in her past that had made her the mare she is now. Timid, submissive, and not at all like most head strong mares he crossed paths with.
The chestnut stretched out one of his forelegs. He was still in the mood to explore. "You can stay here if you want. I can offer a safe place, from whatever has hurt you." His first instinct was it was a cruel stud that had hurt her. He didn't know it was his own God that had done this to the fine mare. And he probably would never know, if she stayed as reclusive as she seemed to be. He gave her a kind smile, the expression fitting his personality. He just wanted her to feel at home, even though he knew nothing about her. "My name is Vanquish. I won't hurt you. I swear." He knew his promise would mean nothing to an untrusting animal, but he would try anyways.

He ate my heart
He stepped towards her and she took two steps back. Space was what she needed, she needed to run into the darkest place she could find and just be. She had to figure out how to fix this mess that she had gotten herself in, but she knew that once the will of the god was done, nothing would change that. Especially since she had denied him after receiving his gift. It was her own fault messing with a god, she should have been smarter than to tempt the power of ones higher than herself. She was just a mortal after all.
Tiara continued to stay low as she backed a few more paces. She used to be a princess, a princess of the strongest herd in the land. Now she was reduced to nothing better than a slave. Even as a priestess of a god that hated her, she would have been better off. But now she had chosen to be submissive and weak. It seemed to her what Apollo would have wanted, and she might as well please the horrible lord and give him what he wanted.
"Cassandra. And I know you do not wish to harm me." she wanted to scream again, she needed to get away. She couldn't just sit in Apollo's land. Perhaps he would be happier if she went to the nightmares? He would just giggle with glee over the fact of her getting tortured by such horrible creatures. But as she thought about it, her pelt shivered and she realized that that was precisely what she wanted. She wanted to be dominated now that she had been so strong willed and broken.
"I can't stay here. I'd only burden you." She replied shaking her skull. Mane returned to it's normal side, not tousled every where but placed into it's natural order. She had calmed and now knew what she must do. The fact of actually doing it was the extremely difficult part. Once she made the choice to be apart of a nightmare herd, there was nothing that could get her out of it.

He wasn't about to let her go. Not like this. He blocked her path, his bulk in her way to freedom. It went against his code to force a animal against it's will, but she wasn't thinking straight. Atleast, he didn't think she was. He paused his breathing long enough to think his actions through, and decided h wasn't going to step aside and let her pass. He twisted his cranium to let his eyes graze her body. "I can't let you pass..." It was hard to say that. "Just stay for a night or two. You might grow to like it." He couldn't understand why a Fire equine would deny their own hand made lands. Maybe Apollo and her weren't on the best of terms. But why would a common mare be on bad terms with a God?
He continued to stay in her way untill he felt sure that she wasn't going to run off. Even if she did, he had a feeling he could beat her to the end of his land. With his extra set of legs, he would be able to catch her. Atleast he hoped so. He didn't try to touch or step towards her again, because he noticed her backing away last time. Cassandra.. The name just now registered in his head. He liked it. The way it rolled off his tongue as he whispered it softly. It fit her, for some reason. Different, like her. Yet perfect all at the same time. He sighed softly, his hot breathe mingling in the rigid air. A typical equine would perish under the heat. But he enjoyed it. The salty smell of his lands made him sneeze, and his entire bulk swayed. He steadied himself, and gazed at the ebony and crimson mare.
He wanted to pry into her life, but forced himself to keep his probing questions to himself. His orbs diverted themself from her beautiful body long enough so see a turtle slide across the sand. He grinned, wishing life was as easy as relaxing on the beach. He kept his ears on her, the ever attentive soldiers ready to report her exit. He didn't want her to leave, truthfully. And the chestnut felt horrible for keeping her, but he had no plan on letting her go so easily. She seemed likely to kill herself if given the chance. And he wasn't going to allow that.

He ate my heart
He blocked her way and she became angry at the stud. Who was he to know what was best for her? Was he going to challenge a god to rid her of this horrible curse? No. He didn't know the god's will and he couldn't foresee the future as she could. Oh how clear it was, so horrible and disgusting. There was so much blood.
She squealed in anger and pelt shivered with disgust. She felt it all over her, the blood, heard the screams of pain and watching as her soon to be loved ones died right before her very eyes. Orbs squeezed shut as she tried to block out what she was seeing. How grotesque the images were.
"So much blood." she said as she shivered again. He offered her to rest for the night, but night was the best time to find Hade's lurkers. They crept around the darkness, sick, twisted grins tore into their faces as they tried to find the next victim to their brutal lust for blood. It was not their fault they were outcasts and needed the blood to live though, it was Hades. He was the true villain behind this whole wreck of a life that she foretold.
"Hades will bring the end." she shrieked as her orbs clouded over and yet again she was brought into her visions. She was sure that once she had this curse for a longer period of time, the visions would become less and less. But for now the same one was repeating again and again. Her body violated, her being forced to go with the king of another land. It was horrible. But this stud would merely think she was crazy, believing that Zeus had complete control over the land. Twas not his fault though, the only one who would ever believe her was Apollo.
"I can only stay a short while." She replied to his demands. It was random almost, how she freaked and them returned to the state of a normal being. She was a loon now after all, or at least they would all believe she was.

ooc; ...oh..my..god.. Lith, I'm beyond sorry. I never ment for this to happen. I doubt you even come on anymore, or will respond. But I'm going to try anyway. Only internet I've had for the last 2 months or so is my phone, and its slow enough as is. So thats why I haven't responded. Anywho, here is my response. Her intense freak out made him snort and take a few steps back, thickly muscled pillars digging into the earth as heavy body moved away from the freak of a mare. It was obvious something unseen was causing this mare such distress. Her voice made him jump a few inchs, but he stepped toward her, orange brown eyes glued to her lips as the most random words sprung forward like a leaky faucet. When she shrieked the Dark Lord's name, his entire being jolted, but didn't leave the place his eight limbs had choosen to bare down on. He took a deep breathe, and forced a smile when the femme seemed back to a some what normal attitude. Her words calmed him, and he nodded. "Thank you. It will be dark here in a few hours. Care to walk with me as I survey the rest of my land?"
He wasn't sure what she would say. The heatwas simmering down as the wind of the oncoming night swept through the land. He looked around for the turtle he had seen earlier. Little scenes like that could make all the difference in the world these days.
NOT DONE. ITS ABOUT TO RAIN, I HAVE TO WALK HOME, AND IM NOT GOING TO LET MY LAPTOP GET WET <3!!
