J A M E S , . { Quiet } . { Gorgeous} . { Fierce } . { Loving} . (( 10 )) , (( Male )) , (( Air )) , (( Shire Unicorn/Brabant Ailee ))
dress me up *} A black gentleman with an even darker ebon mane. His facial markings are in the shape of a skull surrounding his entire face. While his orbs are a deep teal, with no pupil, partially from his Ailee heritage but also from the fact that he is nearly blind. He has angel wings on his shoulder blades and two triangle pieces on the base of his tail. Lastly, this lovely fellow has a scar of teal running from his eye, this is from an encounter with an enemy.
dress rehersal*} James is a loveable fellow, if you can ever get him to talk. After he became a warrior he became as mute as one could be. Though perhaps a bubbly personality could lighten his mood. He is kind to others, though his voice is gruff and he often seems angry from his lack of speech. The stud is not a stupid one, quite cunning but not quite crafty. He uses his wind to help him sense out the shapes around him, making it easier to travel and fight.
cut in half*} Because James has a mix of both earth and air, he could have gone either way. But in the end he felt more drawn towards Hermes, his fathers side. Ever since James lost his sight, he has always wanted to feel that freedom again. The wind inside of him gives him that feeling of freedom and flight that the grounded earth never could. He is loyal to Hermes and would guard him with his life.
start the show*} Born to a mother that loved him with her whole heart, he was originally dubbed Ne'igalomeatiga (unbearable pain). But he was eventually just known as James. James lived a good life. His father was a seer while his mother was a nurse in the herd. James was a social and lovable child. He got along with everyone and was often up to mischief wherever he could find it with his friends. They would laugh and run for long periods of time and always just revel in their childhood innocence. On his second birthday his father pulled him aside, tears in his eyes. Never before had James seen his father show such weakness and he was scared. “Father, what is wrong?” He had spoken in a shaky voice looking up at his father. Those sad orbs looked straight over the child’s ears and into the distance. “I must make you a warrior.” James tilted his head to the side, unsure of what his father was saying. Of course, he knew that his father was an elder, one of the oldest in the herd, and he was destined to choose each foals’ job, but James had never heard of a warrior. The most common role and the one James assumed he would receive was a healer. “What is a warrior?” James asked his father. The old stud looked down at his son, his blood, his life. “You are to vanquish evil from this land.” With that James’s shoulders burned and a bright teal color shown around him, his eyes lost their pupils and his sight dulled. He wanted to scream in pain but didn’t, not in front of his father. By the time his orbs adjusted to this new blur that covered his whole entire world now, his father was gone, too full of anguish over the terrible job he had known his son would have to endure. James was sent out soon after with another warrior to learn what his job was to entail. He left a spirited, bubbly, and overall happy little colt, and came back into a mute stallion that now had a streak of blue reaching from the corner of his orb to his cheek, a scar from his encounter with an enemy. James became quiet, he rarely spoke to anyone and if he did it was only for the most important of things. His mother was distraught by this change in her gorgeous boy and even more distraught at the fact that his vision had faded. She still loved him with all her heart and made sure he was safe, his father even visited, though less than usual. His dam babied him, hoping to help heal any kind of anguish he may have to endure. In the end, James left one day and never came back. His sire assured his mother he was alive, for he could still see him in the future, but he didn’t tell her what he saw in store for their son in the future. It was too painful for him to bare and it would break her heart.
