LIFE OF THE GLAMOROUS
a battle between the rich and the poor
Top notch cars, million dollar apartments, hundreds of thousand dollar wardrobes, classy social life, practically untouchable; it seems as if the life of the wealthy is as picture perfect and seductively mysterious as the untouchable master pieces plastered along museum walls. We look, observe, and admire, but we can never touch. We yearn to have what they have. So who says money can't buy happiness?
Welcome to Octavian County; the wealthiest neighborhood in all of Westchester, New York. Based on pricing, it is considered amongst the most desirable neighborhoods in the nation. It is a very gated, and exclusive community. It is unheard of for the children of these families to mingle with the poor, and most are sent to exclusive boarding schools, or educated locally at the exclusive private school, Octavian County Day.
Just on the other side of Westchester are The Beaches; home to the middle class and poor. These social climbers are just as beautiful and intelligent as the the rich families but are still generally looked down upon throughout the world of the rich. To the rich, the poor and middle class lack the experience, finesse, and taste of their upper crust counterparts.
But when the exclusive private high school Octavian County Day open up their doors to scholarship students and charity cases, the newest generation of both the poor and rich are forced to mingle. Will the unexpected happen and the fine lines that separate these two sides be erased? Or will the magnificent roofs of the rich families be thus polluted by the poor?
More importantly, do you have what it takes to survive?
