These are what breeds are most recommended for each god. Remember you can change it around a bit.
Ex: a death unicorn, meaning hades would have full rights to it etc.
Bad Ex: an air kelpie; this would not work, as they would dry up and become crispy.
Please try and be smart about this. Be logical, what would and what wouldn't work.
Zeus ~ The God Of Lightning; he has no followers, he is the overlord and simply watches over Equinopia and those within its borders.
Poseidon ~ The God Of Water; his followers are Kelpies with the elemental power of Water.
Hades ~ The God Of Death; his followers are Chimaeras, Toxics and Nightmares with the elemental power of Death.
Artemis ~ The Goddess Of The Earth; her followers are Antlaquis and Unicorns with the elemental power of Earth.
Hermes ~ The God Of Air; his followers are Pegasi with the elemental power of Air.
Apollo ~ The God Of Fire; his followers are Sleipni with the elemental power of Fire.
Mind you, the Gods and Goddesses watch over all equines of their element; the ones mentioned, though, are the ones they favour. For example, their could be a pegasus of Fire, but Apollo wouldn't like that equine as much as a Sleipni of his element. There cannot be any lightning equines; Zeus is the only horse in Equinopia with the element of lightning, but he watches over ALL of the horses here.
