Hello there, Random Person! Can I call you Dave? Ok. Sometimes, RPing can be difficult, and keeping a high word count up is mind-scrapingly bad. So, Dave, and other people eves-dropping on this thread, here are some things you can do to raise that count. Detail! It's amazing how much words you get in when you describe things. For example, do this: Her long, white and brown legs moved in a graceful and elegant manner, gently thudding against the soft ground.
instead of...
she ran into the clearing.
Use thought. Your character wouldn't be standing there and making decisions lickity-split. For example: The stallion's mind pulsed with thoughts. 'Should I leave? She doesn't seem to be taking to me. I think I'd better go now...before she breaks my heart...'
instead of...
"Fine, I'm leaving," He said, and ran off.
Use an online thesaurus. Not only are there some good words lurking about, but some are interesting as well. For example: The mare's audits(ears) swivled about, nares(nostrils) flickering in a puff as she struggled to take in all of the scents around her. Suddenly, a shadow dodged out; her instinct made her spook, pillars(legs) climbing over each other in a failed effort to escape. See, Dave? It's easy! But if you're super out of muse and not able to write anything, take a break! Pm the person(s) you're RPing with that you need a break, and take the day off from RPing! Also, if you have muse but can't keep the limit up, show your RPing partner your post and ask for advice on it. Have fun, Dave; we don't bite!...Much. >:}
